Head of Professional Services

Location: Croydon
Salary: Up to £75,000 plus company car, company bonus, pension and healthcare
Contract: Full time, permanent

Position Summary
With continued organisational growth, we are looking for a talented and energetic leader to develop and enhance our successful Professional Services team.  This will involve scaling delivery in our traditional MPS business as well as further developing capability in content management and workflow-based solutions.

Working with Sales and Marketing teams, this role has responsibility for the development of our solutions portfolio as well as ownership of all aspects of solutions delivery including; pre-sales, implementation, project management and customer training.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capability a confident presence in front of customers and in-depth experience in consultancy and selling skills.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the professional services department which includes pre-sales, implementation, project management and customer training.
  • Ensure the required resources and skills are in place to support the needs of the business.
  • Develop excellent relationships with department heads to enable strategy and planning discussions.
  • Drive for high customer satisfaction and attend meetings where necessary.
  • Ensure targets are met, particularly in PS revenue per head and profitability.
  • Produce relevant reports that measures the teams KPIs.
  • Assist in pre-sales activity in winning and retaining customer accounts.
  • Ensure forecasting and delivery of projects (both customer and internal) to agreed timescale and cost.
  • Work closely with the marketing department to develop the solutions portfolio.
